RAPID RESPONSE LANDLORD TENANT MEDIATION PROGRAM

RAPID RESPONSE LANDLORD TENANT MEDIATION PROGRAM

Rental troubles? Be Proactive.

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected us all.

  • Tenants, are you worried about paying your rent?
  • Landlords, are you concerned about covering your costs?
  • Need help communicating your needs?
You don’t need to figure this out alone.

Conversations about money are difficult to have. The Rapid Response Mediation Program is here for both landlords and tenants in Hawaiʻi County — to talk and listen, explore options, and find your own best solutions.

TAKE ACTION NOW

TAKE ACTION NOW

Take action now to avoid problems later.

There are federal and state eviction moratoriums in place, at least for now. A moratorium on evictions does NOT stop rent or other bills, like utilities, from being owed. Rapid Response program mediators can help you have productive conversations to prevent misunderstandings, explore available options, and avert legal action.

FREE for commercial and residential landlords and tenants in Hawaiʻi County. Funding for this program from County of Hawaiʻi, Hawaiʻi Community Foundation, Hawaiʻi Island REALTORS, and West Hawaiʻi REALTORS.
